One of our John Muir Award staff team members just couldn't resist falling into the deepest pile of snow she could find, and creating the classic snow angel! The snow enables us to explore local outdoor spaces in totally different and FUN ways.

On Sunday 4/3/2018 we went out on our planned hike for John Muir we ended up doing the low land Hudys Way walk instead of our Crockmore/Crockbrack way both are in around the same length just the latter is a lot higher . Through the walk we did our litter sweep picking up al sorts of rubbish it was very hard to spot due to all the snow. In the Moydamlaght forest part of the walk we took pictures of Fauna in the forest which we will then learn a little more about . This walk was very enjoyable for all who took part in the cold snowy conditions and we all learnt a little more about this famous walk in our local area and just by walking through nature we feel its probably one of the best ways to connect with it.
