You all worked really hard this week and I have enjoyed each day I have spent with you in the National Park. We have all learnt so much together and I hope you will continue to Discover, Explore and help Conserve this special place. Thank you for sharing your favourite parts of the week with me today.

The Junior Rangers were challenged in the afternoon to use a GPS to locate some Geocaches in the surrounding woodland. We split into two teams to make it a bit of a competition!

The Junior Rangers learnt all about the problems of tree diseases and how to prevent their spread - we cleaned our boots and tools after the hill walk.

All in a days work - a satisfying job and the Junior Rangers kept singing to keep their spirits up before lunch!
