Our last day of volunteering

Primary 6/7 showed amazing perseverance learning to use a flint and steel. We learned the principles of leave no trace fire-lighting and had a campfire using only natural materials - with some toasted marshmallows too, of course!

Primary 7 of Warout Primary School did an amazing job planting trees in their local woodland. In partnership with the land managers The Greenbelt Company, they planted a variety of Scot's pine, Alder and Cherry. They've done a terrific job on their conservation element and really enhanced their local woodland. Well done Primary 7!
