the students from St Johns school, Bishop Auckland Co Durham went to Hackworth Park, Shildon Co Durham and explored the park area, discovering some of the nature within the park. The students recorded their discoveries on tablets and cameras and later shared their discoveries with DAAC staff and fellow students.

A group of students from St Johns School in Bishop Auckland went to explore the Gruffalo trail at Hamsterley Forest, Co Durham and discover some of the flora and fauna on the trail. The students completed the 'obstacle courses' on the trail, exploring their own capabilities and developing teamwork through encouraging and helping the other members of the group
