We had a very informative talk from Loch Ness Knitting. We found out that you can use natural materials from the woods to dye yarn. The cuttings we do today will be collected and used to naturally dye a batch of yarn. C,P,A

14/11/18 We saw some animal homes like bird nests,spider webs,mouse tunnels,deadwood. We saw mole holes the most. We found mouse nibbled sloe kernels. F,K,C

14/11.18 When we were building animal homes we found a mouse den. My friend and I took a lot of thick sticks for the ground animals and a lot of little sticks for the bird homes. D,C

14/11/18 We made animal homes out of lots of things we found in the woods(100% natural ). We also moved logs and branches that people had just chucked there. We were lopping and sawing down young sycamore that were stopping other plants from growing. It also gives room for the stronger sycamore trees and ash trees to grow properly. F,K

14/11/18 Down at the Cover our group helped make an animal home with the other groups. We made 2 animal homes. One small home and one big one. My friend and I found an Earth worm and named it Gary and put it on the animal home. We made homes to help the animals incase of ash dieback. S,G,B

Feb 19 On the beach at Fairlie collecting seaweed to use in the beds at Fairlie Gardens. Great fun!
