We have a nice walk to the woodland because there is a path behind our school field, and the nice man who owns the land lets us go through his fields. He allowed gates to be put in so it is safe, and Newlands development Trust paid for them. There used to be barbed wire and that was dangerous. We used to have to go along the road to the woods so this is a nicer walk. We can hear the birds and see little creatures, there are a lot of frogs.

We are doing a walk every Tuesday along the lyne water for our John Muir award we are also talking about the use of land and jobs around the area

Today we went on a walk down the lyne water and while I was walking I saw this beautiful butterfly so took a picture. Emma Wyllie

We went on a walk by the Lyne river and took some pictures of the scenery and nature around the area.
