Found this coppiced hazel wood when out doing winter tree identification.

My beautiful bike ride through the heart of the Lake District was a small contribution, but bigger than at first appears. The easy choice was to take the car to work as I had a meeting to go to. However a cadged lift from home to the meeting (with my bike), a ride back to work, and a lift home means that my 16 mile bike ride saved 60 car miles! Some #localaction to tackle #globalgoals of #sustainability #climatechange and a little #health thrown in :-)
