Helped deliver a bush craft session to a school group today with the Dean Rangers.

We removed some really big items from our local woodland this week - what a sense of achievement!

Yesterday morning after a few weeks of working onsite and completing more practical aspects of the John Muir Award; our group ventured into the Lake District and climbed Gummer's How. We were lucky enough to witness a temperature inversion and enjoyed the view above the clouds. This is something many of the group had not experienced before and on several faces the look of wonder was clear to see. As it started to rain we headed down and were lucky enough to have a flypast from one of the training jets. This only added to the experience! After our exploration of Gummer's How we headed again to the campsite, made a campfire and cooked sausages and bacon. All the boys had a great day.
