Week 13 started with us demolishing a few pallets. Not being vandals, but so we could recycle the wood into bird boxes. Once we had broken them up, we stacked the wood in a polytunnel to dry out. When the weather turned a bit rainy, we came back inside, and got on with designing our John Muir posters for our planned school display. Week 14, we were straight out to one of our polytunnels in our Organic Garden and followed the plans to get the wood cut for the boxes. Once the wood was sanded, we stored it for next time. We have decided that we would not only build boxes for the school, but also to donate a number of them to pensioners in the local community.
