We went litter picking today. We found A LOT of litter - there are going to be lots more litter picking sessions that we initially thought.... Zooey: I found a knife! In a bush there were parts of a car window! Finn: I stood in a poo. We are thinking of making some signs to ask people to pick up after their dogs.

This is my poem I wrote about a place near me. I really like birds so I wrote it about a place down my road we’re I have seen bullfinches, yellowhammers, Siskin, woodpeckers and evening reed buntings! The photos are of one of the noisy house sparrows in a hedge and the other is of a stonechat that I got a photo of in the snow. Isla

Mr Nicol took another walk to take photos and videos for the group. This was going past Kinghorn Loch to Rodden Braes

Miss Gold made a Scavenger Hunt this week for the group, but we have shared it for anyone to do. The Ecology Centre at Kinghorn have very kindly lent us a Trail Cam to capture footage of the wildlife in the school grounds. Fingers crossed we will have some footage available soon! And a couple of other photos from around Kinghorn loch.

Helped for 2.5 hours to bring some dogwood under control. Used the branches to help make a hedge and reopen an old path. Logs being saved for a hibernaculum.
