Walking through the woods

This is our written work for discover.

Today we took some friends up to the woods to explore. We picked some wild garlic and climbed on the trees. Then we walked to the stream. Some of us walked through it and some of us walked over it by climbing across a fallen tree. Our wellies were full of water afterwards. We enjoyed sharing our wild place with our friends.

The group headed over to Muiravonside Country Park, just outside Falkirk for the second of their Conserve days. The group were undertaking a Tree Health Survey through OPAL(Open Air Lab). Once all the information is gathered they are then able to upload their results to the OPAL website.

Looking forward to putting my new learnt skills to good use with some of the schools John Muir groups.
