Hiking around Wester Ross
-
During our mid-course holiday, I took a break from Pathwork and headed up into the Highlands in my campervan to explore a part of the country that I've never been before. Wester-Ross is a spectacular area. The steep-sided mountains can be challenging, but the views from the summits are worth the effort. Saying that, the interesting geology of the area makes low-altitude hikes very rewarding too. On my final day I took a fairly easy going route to Coire Mhic Fhearchair, at the foot of Beinn Eighe, and found this waterfall. Definitely somewhere to head back to and explore further.
