Morven's John Muir Award
-
Some of my favourite parts that we have done when we were working towards our John Muir Award aas when I found a frog. I also found this really cool and rare beetle. It was called a click beetle. It was one of the first recorded in East Renfrewshire. I really liked it when we worked in groups of three to plant bee friendly wild-flowers. Up at the trees there is lots of cuckoo spit with a froghopper in the spit. We also did a bioblitz. Last time we went up to the trees to meet up with Ranger Grieg we played some games and they were really fun. We did this thing where we got into pairs. One of us was blindfolded and they would feel the tree and then guess what tree it was. My favourite wild activity all year was the forest games with Ranger Greig.
