Path construction work begins on Craigmore
-
Our first work site is Craigmore, a rocky hill overlooking the village of Aberfoyle. We will be constructing a path through a walking route that is largely bog. (At the top of this section there is the remnants of an old tram line, something of notable historical interest.) The bogginess of this section, along with the footfall of hill users, has resulted in severe scarring along this route. By laying down aggregate path and stone pitching, with a variety of drainage features throughout, we will make this route far more accommodating for walkers.
