Set Alight With New Ideas & Skills I

We set off for our final visit to the Wonderful Provanhall Medieval Community Project with Megan and Senior Countryside Rangers Allison Greig. The sun was shining down on us as we set off with a full day of Active Learning before us! The plan for today was to continue our investigation into Fire Safety within Nature. It was great to do this activity once again and we all agreed that practice certainly does make perfect and with fire you can never be too experienced. With Ranger Greig we talked about Fire Safety and were able to show and tell her some of the things that we had learned previously with our Whitelees Countryside Ranger Firends Fiona and Kate! We talked about what a fire needs to start and to survive and also about how to care for a fire and the safety precautions we should always take.
