Adding Fuel To The Fire of Learning (WARNING SUGAR AHEAD)

Now as you know we set out on this Active Learning through Nature Journey to take part in Educational Activities that would help us and the nature around us grow! But who said we couldn't have the ocasional treat as we went along. Kate created a small fire contained safely within an old tin and within a flash (not with the flint and steel this time) our skewers were dressed with succelent sugary treats both pink and white and soon to be golden and toasted! Not content with this we toasted more and laughed as they were sandwiched between two chocolate biscuits for maximum effect and then groaned as we bit into the marsh mallow cholcolate biscuit extravaganza with total pleasure strewen across our faces!! This was another step towards our learning goal and once again we must thank Whitelees Countryside Rangers Fiona and Kate for allowing us the opportunity to take part in this fantastic journing into nature!
