Day 15 It's A Big Country.....
-
A 10km walk to the summit of Cat Law 669m, saw the group surrounded by panoramic views all the way to the sea. Lucky with the weather after a dull and grey weekend. The group saw loads of nature if it crawled, flew, ran or swam it was spotted. The group came across a Curlew's nest so we had the discussion about what to respect at different times of the year. We were also joined by Mrs Gray and her dog Barney, who had the best school day ever. The tree is at the summit of CatLaw a very 'Lonesome Pine'. We also talked about the need to wear long trousers and checking for ticks. A great day was had by all.
