morning visit

This morning I came to UWNR to share the reserve to my grandparents while it is in its spring glory ! First we went to see if we would be lucky enough to spot the fox cubs but unfortunately we didn't see them, then we went round looking at all the plants and flowers that come out in early may . we saw : bugles hawthorn blossom ferns wild carrot lady's smock yellow orchids wild garlic and countless others ! After that I distributed some meat in a central location for the foxes and other small mammals and birds . I also filled up the badger feeders with peanuts . Just before we left I observed a spider catching bees over the entrance of a bug hotel that I made when I first started my john muir award !
