Bird boxes in place

Last year the Cubs made a bird box each using recycled materials sourced with help from Hamilton Waste & Recycling and The Bike Station (Edinburgh). The Cubs took their boxes home but there were a number of spare boxes and we have given them an eco-friendly, weather resistant coating on the outside and put them up in our small woodland. There are two tit boxes and an open front robin box as our wild space is quite small. Here's hoping that they might get used by the birds that have been frequenting the feeders.
