As the Seasons Change...
-
Take some time to close your eyes and imagine falling dots of red, burnt orange, flecks of late green and yellow as they dance in the wind. Now take same time to imagine swirls of rich greens of every colour each framing a river. People sitting around to paint both and keep the scene alive in a picture. Thames Valley is place of peace, friendship and natural beauty. From picnics and painting in the summer days to autumn strolls and time to sit in peace as the weather gets colder, the Valley is a place for everyone. And it is not alone.
Imagine walking through this peaceful place. The river flowing at your side. Feed the geese or ducks bread or watch the pigeons. Walk through the forest, explore the fallen trees and multiple branching paths. Or go out with friends and enjoy a picnic or a make up day on the beach. Go on a stroll with family. Or host events together. Or even take some time to canoe along the Thames.
It is far by time we protect these places. These places are declining, and fast. This is not new knowledge. Amongst the scenic view, too often you find plastic bottle caps and plastic bags, carelessly tossed rubbish and pollution. We need to come together if we want to keep these places alive and as beautiful as ever.
