Lockerbie Manor residential

Primary 7 from St Marks Primary, Barrhead visited Lockerbie Manor from 20-24th November. They participated in several outdoor learning activities. The instructors were fully trained and had delivered the John Muir award on several occasions in the past and regularly referred to it as part of the childrens experience.
There was literature around the centre for the pupils to read including posters on the walls and leaflets. This helped to build upon the knowledge that the children had learned in school regarding The John Muir award. The children loved the experience and were able to ask questions and receive knowledgeable answers which participating in practical activities to help them explore and discover the area.
