Conserve at the Cover
-
14/11/18 This was the day we were really looking forward to! We are ready to complete our conservation activities. Under the direction of Woodland Trust staff and contractors, pupils will help to re-wild parts of the wood, moving cut wood to create new habitats for insects and small mammals. They will also encourage better Sycamore growth by thinning out the density of Sycamore plantations. This will provide alternative habitat for organisms which depend on the local Ash tree population, should this be affected by disease.
