Exploration of the east side

On Thurs 22nd Nov the team headed out to explore the east side of Callander. The drizzle and grey conditions didn't put us off! We did a circular route starting in the centre of Callander taking in the Auchenlaich chambered cairn and the Auchinlaich hill fort. After leaving the hill fort Ross spotted a red squirrel and we have logged our sighting on the Saving Scotlands Red Squirrels website. We enjoyed spending a few minutes watching and listening to the water tumbling down Bracklinn Falls. A peaceful walk back through the woods and then a nice hot drink in the office!
