Dundreggan - Trees for Life

Public awareness of the term rewilding has grown over recent years and the discussion is about more than wolves and lynx. Dundreggan Estate in Glen Moriston is the flagship forest restoration project of Trees for Life. Getting to visit the project and speak to the staff, as well as walk the ground and explore the land, made for an amazing day! 60,000 native trees are grown in the tree nursery every year... wow, as well as amazing work in the propagation of hard-to-grow native species such as Aspen. The conservation weeks look like amazing opportunities to really get involved!
